Youth Group
Youth at Living Hope is a gathering of 6th-12th graders seeking to experience and spread the love and hope of Jesus Christ in Lisbon, Iowa. While we are a small church, we sense God moving among the youth of our town and are excited to provide a safe place for youth to hang out, have fun, and grow spiritually.
Lisbon Youth aims to support students in connecting with trusted, Christ-like leaders and finding a healthy community of peers as they explore questions of faith and life. Each night will include a simple meal, fun activities, and conversations based on the Bible.
Jesus offers life-changing love and hope to people of all ages. All 6th-12th grade students are invited to a place to belong at Living Hope.

Food
A Time to Connect
Each week, we have a simple meal together. Students love food. But more than that, Jesus often spent time with his friends and followers around a meal. Following Jesus' example, we see the meal as an intentional time for students to slow down, relax, and connect with others.

A Time to Laugh
Fun
Kids grow up too fast. Once in Junior High or High School, having fun can take a back seat to achievements for the future. Yet laughter is good for the soul, and playing games together is a wonderful way to build relationship. We devise a creative way to engage the students each week, working together, having fun, and laughing. Sometimes, those games are competitive, and sometimes, they're plain silliness.

A Time to Grow
Faith
We are a Methodist Church with tight grip on the Bible and a little lighter grip on the Wesleyan traditions of the Christian faith. We desire to provide a place for students to grow in relationships, maturity, and their faith journey regardless of faith background. You don't have to be a Methodist to attend, all are welcome. We believe God has something for each student who shows up. God makes himself known to us in two profound and related ways: through the person of Jesus Christ and the Bible. Each week, we will read a portion of the Bible and see what we can learn about God, about us as people, about who Jesus is and what he does in our lives, and how all that can shape how we think, speak, and live.
What's the Plan
This week (3/26): Small Group Discussion on the questions "Who am I?" and "Where do I belong?"
