From Epiphany to Lent is a good time to reflect on the Gospel. The Good News of Jesus Christ is ours through faith in Him. In Galatians 4:8-5:15, Paul says that the shift in our identity and freedom affects how we live. We no longer have to be controlled by every whim we have, nor do we have to strive for our acceptance by God. Freedom is expressed through love. Love for God and love for others. The gift of the Spirit gives us power and ability to live as free children of God.
